Radical GenerosityIt's about giving back to the community
D3 Contracting Services is dedicated to giving back to the community. A portion of the profits of every job that we do is set aside to be used to fund locally-operating charities. In addition, we let our customers direct where a portion of those funds go. We call this Radical Generosity.
To date, we have donated to the following charities operating in the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex:
Founded in 2003, Wounded Warrior Project’s mission is to honor and empower Wounded Warriors who incurred a physical or mental injury, illnesses, or wound, co-incident to your military service on or after September 11, 2001.
The Humane Society of North Texas (HSNT) was founded in 1905 and is the oldest animal welfare organization in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. HSNT provides services such as pet adoptions, low-cost spay/neuter surgeries and vaccinations, returning lost pets to their owners, cruelty investigations and humane euthanasia. HSNT operates four pet adoption centers in Tarrant County, as well as an equine and livestock ranch located in Johnson County.
“Good Sam” was formed in 1983 from an alliance of several Garland faith communities with the intent to provide centrally-located services for neighbors in need of assistance. In 2016, the Board of Directors elected to narrow Good Sam’s assistance to providing food with kindness and compassion to our hungry and food-insecure neighbors living in Garland, Rowlett, and Sachse.
The Annual Diocesan Appeal is a dynamic opportunity for all of the faithful in the Diocese of Fort Worth to impact lives beyond the scope of any individual parish. Its mission is to witness to God’s grace in our lives by together sharing the Gospel message of faith, hope and charity with those most in need of attention through knowing and doing all that we are called to as Disciples of Christ.
The Salvation Army is an integral part of the Christian Church, although distinctive in government and practice. The Army’s doctrine follows the mainstream of Christian belief and its articles of faith emphasise God’s saving purposes. Its objects are ‘the advancement of the Christian religion… of education, the relief of poverty, and other charitable objects beneficial to society or the community of mankind as a whole.’
The Veterans Center of North Texas was established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in June 2014. We are an all-volunteer organization dedicated to helping Veterans and their families receive assistance to enable them to be successful members of their communities. We are able to assist veterans locate living wage employment; obtain affordable short term and long term housing; obtain financial, legal and medical assistance; navigate the Veterans Affairs (VA) system or overcome any of a myriad of other issues that life presents – We can help!
